You do not need any specific qualification to work as a teaching assistant but a good general education and ability to communicate clearly is essential. A minimum of 1 years experience in the UK is required.
Our in-house former head teacher is available to give you advice and training on the National Curriculum and the working practices of schools in and around London.

To teach in the UK you will need a visa that permits you to work in the UK, e.g Working Holiday Visa, EU Passport or an Ancestry Visa. If you don't have an appropriate working visa that permits you to work in the UK we may be able to assist you by organising a school to sponsor you. Further visa information for teachers.
To work for EM Recruitment you will need to attend an informal interview with one of our consultants. You will need your CV, three written references related to your teaching experience, a certified copy of your degree/s, a current Police / CRB check and your passport to verify your visa status to work in the UK.
