The majority of posts are for three months minimum; usually these posts will be extended. Your duties will involve checking clinical pre and final inpatients and outpatients prescriptions, ward rounds managing staff and answering general queries from medical staff, patients and members of the public.

Requirements for a Pharmacist - Pharmacy Jobs
You must be registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Grades range from A to E with a majority working in B/C posts.

Pharmacists from New Zealand and Australia must complete a 4 week pre-registration period.

Pharmacists from South Africa can only work as Technician to begin with. They may after take the overseas exam and undertake a pre-registration (which takes longer and is more costly).
